Twist Studios was founded by Adam Double in 2009.  His busy client list includes many people who have been training with him from the outset.

Situated opposite the new Forest Hill swimming pools, Twist Studios is easy to reach from Forest Hill station (4 minute walk) and is on many bus routes.  Free on-street parking is available nearby.

Most personal training sessions take place at Twist Studios, where you can enjoy the comfort and privacy of a fully equipped private gym/studio.  He can also offer swimming coaching and cycling sessions which may include the challenging climbs of the North Downs which are just a few miles away.

ADAM DOUBLE BSc (Hons)

Founder of Twist Studios in 2009, Adam Double is an energetic and highly motivated Personal Trainer, who is extremely passionate about helping his clients achieve their goals. A graduate of Kingston University’s renowned Sports Science department, where he excelled in the University’s 1st Football team, additional Personal Training qualifications lead him initially to LA Fitness in Sydenham. Going freelance in February 2009, Adam has established a large base of personal training clients – see client testimonials – and has continued his professional development in personal fitness training.

Training with the Crystal Palace Triathletes Club, Adam became an Ironman Triathlete in summer 2010 and has completed in a number of Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events all over the world.   He has trained many clients for triathlon events including complete beginners and non swimmers who have progressed to compete in Ironman events.

He was one of 12 successful athletes/coaches chosen from 100s of applicants to participate in the  Swim Smooth Coach Education Course at Loughborough University in 2012 and can offer coaching for beginners and advanced swimmers alike.

Also a keen boxer, he has qualifications in Boxercise, Kickboxercise, Aerobic Boxercise and Kids Boxercise.  He is a certified Advanced Boxercise Instructor and authorised Muhammad Ali Boxing Fitness Instructor – see classes.

Further qualifications include Advanced Personal Training,   pre- and post-natal exercise prescription, Core Stability and is a Advanced Tri-Planar Kettlebell Instructor.
