What is sports massage?
Sports massage therapy helps to alleviate the stress and tension that builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity. It can help prevent those minor injuries that so often get in the way of performance and achievement, whether you’re an athlete, ardent keep-fitter or a once a week jogger.
What can sports massage do for you?
Regular sessions will increase joint mobility and flexibility, and reduce the risk of injury during exercise. Sports massage’s benefits are not limited to those who exercise regularly; people in physically demanding jobs and those under extreme stress (which often manifests similarly to sports injuries) will also benefit from the treatment. Deeper and more intense than a Swedish massage, our Sports Massage specialist will use their skills and knowledge to advise you on optimising your body’s performance.
Costs and availability
Sports Massage sessions are available from 6am – 9pm weekdays and on weekends at a cost of £40 for 1 hour, or £25 for 30 minutes. To book or for more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 0773 778 5567.
What is MAT?
Improving the way your muscles communicate with your brain, MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques) is:
• A revolutionary approach to the assessment and correction of muscular imbalances, joint instability, and limitations in range of motion within the human body.
• A non-invasive technique, designed to balance the muscular system of people of all ages.
• A unique systematic format used to “jumpstart” the muscles in order for them to function with maximum efficiency.
What can MAT do for you?
Muscle Activation Techniques™ is a specific and unique process for evaluating an individual’s ability to produce efficient muscle contraction. Loss of muscle contraction results in a decreased range of motion, and therefore decreased physical performance.
Range of motion testing can indicate which muscles have decreased contractibility, and precise forces are applied to restore that muscle’s efficiency. The MAT™ Certified Specialist is trained and certified to perform several force application techniques that can restore function and strengthen weak muscles.
In no time at all, you will be performing your daily activities with ease, whether that means throwing 100 yard passes or walking up the stairs!
MAT™ is effective for EVERYONE from elite athletes to rehabilitation patients, and anyone in between. Book a session with our MAT Specialist Jaime Martinez today!

Osteopathy is a non-invasive manual medicine that focuses on total body health. The key principles are based on the theory that all parts of the body function together in an integrated manner. If one part of the body is restricted, the rest of the body must adapt and compensate for which eventually leads to inflammation, pain, stiffness and other health conditions. Osteopathic treatment provides the body with the opportunity to restore function by assisting with pain minimisation, stress reduction, greater mobility and decrease muscle tension.
Osteopaths use a broad range of gentle hands-on techniques including soft tissue stretching, deep tactile pressure, mobilisation or manipulation of joints, visceral treatment and craniosacral therapy.
Osteopathy sessions are available on Saturdays by prior arrangement. To book or for more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 0773 778 5567.
